ML Carroll – Chef & Founder

Distinguished for her talent and creativity, ML, as she is known to all, is the area’s premier catering chef.  Without any culinary or business experience but armed with her passion for the culinary arts, fond memories of her parents’ entertaining, strong work ethic, off-the-charts talent and fearlessness, Canapés was born.  Now over a quarter of a century plus later, ML is considered one of this area’s most accomplished chefs and Canapés, the premier and in-demand caterer of choice.  ML has won numerous awards and has appeared on Food Network and The Cooking Channel.  In rare downtime moments, ML and her loving husband travel, golf, scuba and enjoy their home in historic downtown Frederick.
